Melanie M. Carpenter, Executive VP, Chief Human Resources Officer
Ms. Carpenter joined MAA in March 2000. Prior to joining MAA, she worked in Human Resources with Cooperative Marketing Concepts, a high performance telemarketing and training services firm. She graduated from the University of Memphis with a BA in Management and earned an EMBA, also from the University of Memphis. She holds a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification from the HR Certification Institute and is a current member and past Board Member (serving as Treasurer and President-elect) for the Memphis chapter of Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM).
